This is for Monday's CAS69 Challenge, to honor heroes.
To honor deployed military personnel abroad, my kids and I made cards on Memorial Day to send to the Operation Write Home organization, which collects blank handmade cards to send out to deployed military personnel so they can send them back to loved ones here at home! "Miss you" and "Love you" cards are the most-requested types of cards at OWH.
My 7-year-old son Joel was thrilled to make this cool airplane card with just a bit of help from me. He LOVED sponging the cloudy sky background and using my "grown up" markers to color the airplane. He is so proud that a soldier might use this card to send home to his or her own kiddo!
Thanks for looking and taking time to leave a comment for my son!! He will be thrilled.
Emily

Oh that's just perfect!! I have weakness for airplane cards - my dad was an airline pilot, and so are both of my brothers!! This is the perfect generic card for so many occasions!!! I love how you popped up the plane - and I know from experince that creating those clouds can take a lot of time!!!! Wonderful card!!!
